🕸️ Proxies for Web Scraping

Dedicated and shared datacenter proxies built for web scraping. USA, Spain, and Italy locations. Plans from 10 to 500 proxies.

Web scraping at any meaningful volume needs proxies. Without them, a single source IP making thousands of requests gets rate-limited or blocked within minutes — regardless of how polite the scraper is. Proxies distribute the traffic across many IPs so target sites see a normal-looking spread of visitors instead of one hammer. The right proxy choice depends on what you are scraping: budget-friendly shared pools work for tolerant public-data sources, while dedicated private IPs are needed when target sites aggressively flag shared or recycled IPs.

What You Need

Proxy Requirements for Web Scraping

🔁
Pool size that fits volume
More IPs means fewer requests per IP per minute, which means lower rate-limit risk. Match plan size to expected requests per hour, not just total records.
🧹
Clean IP reputation
IPs with no recent abuse history get through more often than recycled IPs from heavily-used pools. Private plans give the cleanest start.
🌍
Geo-targeting when needed
Geo-locked content requires an IP in the right country. Spain and Italy IPs unlock EU-specific content; USA IPs are needed for US-only data.
🔐
Flexible authentication
IP-whitelist auth is ideal for fixed crawler machines; username/password auth is needed when you scrape from rotating/cloud environments.
High concurrency capacity
Modern scrapers run hundreds of concurrent requests. The network and the pool size both need to handle that without queuing or dropping connections.
🛡️
HTTP(S) support
Every modern site is HTTPS. Proxies must transparently handle TLS without breaking certificate chains or stripping security.

Web Scraping FAQs

How many proxies do I need for my scraper?

Rule of thumb: divide your peak requests-per-minute by 6 (giving each IP one request every 10 seconds on average). Target sites with stricter limits need more IPs; tolerant public-data sites need fewer. Contact sales with your specifics and we can size a plan.

Do these work with Scrapy / Playwright / Puppeteer?

Yes. Our proxies are standard HTTP(S) proxies and work with any client that accepts a proxy URL. Use the IP-whitelist auth or username/password auth depending on your runtime — both are supported by the major scraping libraries.

Will these work on Cloudflare or DataDome protected sites?

It depends on the site's detection aggression. Datacenter proxies handle the majority of public sites; aggressively protected sites may need residential IPs. Ask sales about your specific target before ordering and we will tell you up front.

Datacenter vs residential — which do I need?

Datacenter for the bulk of scraping workloads — faster, cheaper, and effective on most targets. Residential if your target explicitly fingerprints and blocks datacenter ASNs. We carry datacenter; contact us for residential options.

Can I rotate IPs automatically?

Our IPs are static — they do not rotate on their own. Most scraping frameworks handle rotation client-side by cycling through your proxy list, which is the cleanest approach. Monthly IP refreshes are available on request at no extra cost.
