Datacenter Proxy
A proxy whose IPs are hosted in commercial datacenters. Fast, cheap, and effective for the majority of workloads.
A datacenter proxy is a proxy whose IP addresses are assigned to commercial server-hosting providers (AWS, Hetzner, OVH, dedicated proxy datacenters). The connections are fast (typically gigabit-class), stable, and cheap to provision compared with residential proxies.
The tradeoff is identifiability. Datacenter IP ranges are publicly registered to known hosting providers, so anti-bot platforms can flag traffic from datacenter ASNs with a simple lookup. On targets that aggressively block datacenter IPs, this matters. On the majority of targets — public-data scraping, SEO monitoring, ad verification, most account management — datacenter is faster, cheaper, and works fine.
EZProxies sells datacenter proxies across the USA, Spain, and Italy. The cost-per-IP at scale is roughly one third of comparable residential pricing, which makes datacenter the right default for any cost-sensitive or high-volume workload.
