Rotating Proxy
A proxy setup that assigns a different IP to each request (or session) from a managed pool. Common in high-volume scraping.
Rotating proxies refer to a configuration where the source IP changes automatically — either on every request, on a time-based rotation, or per logical session. The IPs are drawn from a managed pool, so the destination sees traffic spread across many addresses instead of repeated requests from the same source.
Rotation is the default tactic for high-volume scraping. A single IP making thousands of requests gets rate-limited or blocked within minutes; spreading those requests across hundreds or thousands of IPs avoids per-IP rate limits and reduces the chance any individual IP gets flagged.
EZProxies sells static IPs (not auto-rotating), but rotation is straightforward to implement client-side — most scraping frameworks (Scrapy, Playwright, Puppeteer) have built-in proxy rotation that cycles through your IP list. For workloads needing automatic rotation at the provider level, ask sales about custom configurations.
